Ho ho ho

Here are some pictures of some events so far in December. We picked out our Christmas tree in the freezing cold and then two days later, it SNOWED! We woke up to a tiny bit of white powder all over our yard. It was neat. Now I know anyone who actually deals with snow on a regular basis in the winter would laugh at the amount we got but we thought it was pretty cool. Just a few miles away they actually got about 4 inches. The hills all around us were white. Very pretty. I also have a couple pics here of Luke and Zoe in front of our tree and then with Santa. Happy Ho, ho, ho!

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween! Luke decorated a pumpkin with our play group and then he and Travis made a real jack-o-lantern at home. Luke designed the jack-o-lantern on paper and then Travis created it on the pumpkin.

Pumpkin patch

While we were in Livermore, we went to an awesome pumpkin patch and farm with my parents, Mike and Wendy and their twins. It was so much fun and will have to become a yearly tradition!

There was a huge corn pit...kind of like a big sand box but filled with popcorn kernels. The boys had a ball in it!

They also rode the cow train.

"Choo! Choo!" I mean, "Moo! Moo!"

Zoe's Baptism

Zoe was baptized on Oct. 24 at St. Michael's, the church where I was baptized and also married. We had a private baptism in the chapel with our families and close family friends. The dress that Zoe wore is 38 years old and was bought for my older sister Wendy by her Godmother, my late Aunt Betty. Wendy wore the dress, I wore the dress, my younger sister Leslie wore the dress, my mom's God daughter Shannon wore the dress and then Zoe wore the dress. It was in great shape and she looked beautiful in it. Maybe someday her daughter will wear it! Here are some shots from the day.

It is traditional for the Godmother to dress the child for the baptism. Here Wendy is dressing a thrilled Zoe.

I love this picture of Travis and Zoe. It was taken at the party after the baptism.
