Luke's first day of school

Luke and I attended his first pre-preschool class today. It is a once a week class for kids his age and their mommies to be introduced to the classroom setting. We started with free choice time, then circle time, then outside time, then snack time, then centers and art time, and finally story time. This is going to be a great opportunity for Luke to practice sharing and playing with other kids...somewhat of a challenge for him right now. It will also help him follow rules and listen to the teacher. We both had a good time today. Luke LOVED exploring the classroom and playing with a slew of new toys, books, and puzzles. We like his teacher, Ms. Kieli very much and are looking forward to making new friends.

Luke's awesome new backpack from Grandma and Grandpa M.

Drinking water from a "big boy cup!"

Playing with shaving cream next to his teacher, Ms. Kieli.

  1. FUN! I love that Tommy goes to preschool on his own...but OH how I wish I could see what he was doing. I know he has such a great time. Glad Luke is lovin the school-thing!
